The new Ricoh Theta has a compact design that’s easy to use and capable of shooting 360-degree images with just one shutter click. Two opposed hemispherical lenses allows the capturing of panoramic shots in a single frame, with the images saved to the device’s internal memory or an iOS device via WiFi (Android support is said to come later this year). And once you’ve downloaded the Theta app, you can use your phone or tablet as a remote shutter release, while also using your device to view photos (the Theta lacks an LCD screen). Be prepared for a bit of sticker shock, though — the Ricoh Theta retails for $399. Check out the following videos to learn more about the 360-degree shooter, and go here for purchase details.
