After a lengthy interlude, Apple has updated the Mac mini, packing “the entire Mac experience into a 7.7-inch-square frame.” Upgrades include fourth-generation Intel Core processors, two Thunderbolt 2 ports, and Intel Iris and HD Graphics 5000 options. The upshot, according to Apple, is “the world’s most energy efficient desktop computer.” It’s available online as of today, and you can upgrade the configurations to a 3.0GHz dual-core i7 processor, with up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of flash storage.
