From something purely digital to a relatively analog gadget. Thanks to its previous Kickstarter successes on the Smartphone Film Scanner and the Petzval Lens, camera maker Lomography is looking to the crowdfunding platform for help in bringing its next concept into fruition. Essentially a Lomography camera and instant camera rolled into one convenient setup, the Lomography Lomo’Instant Camera provides ways for you to alter your photos, hence the tagline as “The World’s Most Creative Instant Photography System”. Some of the camera’s unique features include an aperture setting that dials in at f/8 all the way to f/32, more than other instant cameras out in the market today. It can also take an unlimited multiple exposure instant photos, which allows you mesh images together onto one single photo. With a built-in flash and control for automatic flash output, the Lomo’Instant Camera shoots on readily available Fujifilm Instax Mini Film. Comes as either black or white, a Sanremo Edition will be available for Kickstarter pledges $119 or more. There is also a Special Kickstarter Edition, in mint green accents, for those who contribute $230 or more. Already reached its $100,000 contribution goal in less than 24 hours, the Lomography Lomo’Instant Camera is now at $500,000 and climbing.
