The ability to shoot 4K video is increasingly within the everyday user’s grasp — or, in the case of the new Panasonic HX-A500, available for hands-free shooting. The A500 shoots the aformentioned 4K video at 25 frames per and comes in two parts: a lightweight camera bit weighing in at 31g that’s attached to an operating unit, rated at 119g and equipped with 1.5-inch, 115,200-dot color LCD screen. The 4K video mode captures the action at 25fps, but there are also slow motion options, offering 1080p at 50fps, 720p at 100fps and 200fps at 848 x 480. Other significant features include a IPX8 waterproof rating, automatic leveling correction, image stabilization and various mounts to deliver optimal image capture. Go here to learn more.
