Just in case you feel you don’t already have enough remotes to handle, Microsoft is set to begin selling their brand new XBox One Media Remote next month. The new Xbox One Media Remote will let users directly control their consoles, including Blu-ray disc playback, streaming video, and access TV and movies on the XBox One program guide. Users will also be able to use the remote to control the power and volume through Kinect, which itself directly talks to your TV or reciever. The remote, which is nothing ground-breaking in terms of functionality or shape, does come with motion-activated backlit buttons so you can use it even in a dark room. The Media Remote will sell for $25 in the US and other markets around the world beginning sometime in March.
