Previously, the major roadblock impeding the inevitability of Google Glass was its awkward design. Google has addressed the issue with the launch of four new styles of the Internet-enabled headset. There are four titanium frame styles — Bold, Curve, Thin, and Split — and three sunglass styles made in collaboration with Maui Jim. The prescription-ready frames cost $225 each, while the sunglasses go for $150 each. Of course those prices are for the frames only, not for the Glass computing device, which costs $1,500 for people invited to buy the current version. Google Glass will retail for several hundred dollars less when the consumer version comes to market in late 2014.
